Dr. Dinakar Golla is the founder of the Golla Center for Plastic Surgery & Spa. He is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Pittsburgh with extensive experience in cosmetic surgery. He has authored numerous articles, lectured over 100 times around the country and the world on unique cutting-edge techniques in plastic surgery, and has trained a number of surgeons who have traveled to watch and learn from his expertise. His ability to listen to his patients desires and to honestly communicate what is possible has garnered him the praise and admiration of his patient population.
He did his General Surgery and then a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He has been a Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as well as Chief of UPP Plastic Surgery at UPMC St Margaret and UPMC Passavant. After leaving the University, he founded the Golla Center For Plastic Surgery to bring cutting-edge surgical techniques more broadly to his patients.
Biography
Dr. Golla graduated summa cum laude and phi beta kappa from Boston University School of Arts and Sciences. Then he graduated magna cum laude from the prestigious Boston University School of Medicine. He won the Alumni Association Award, which is given to those students whose efforts raise the Boston University Medical School community, as well as the Dean Eleanor Tyler Memorial Award, which is given to the top medical graduate from the Seven Year Medical Program. In addition, he won the Merck Manual Award, which is given to the top three students of each medical school class. He is also a member of the AOA, a national medical school honor society.
